The M4S Integr8ed B-BBEE Socio-Skills Optimisation and Mentoring Model is an innovative solution for organisations needing to improve on their B-BBEE Rating in terms of the Amended B-BBEE Codes and the various Sector Scorecards – through integrating internal skills development solutions with external nation building initiatives.
Mentoring 4 Success is a Level 2 B-BBEE Contributor for Procurement purposes.
This Nation Building through Knowledge Mentoring™ approach offers organisations an ability to optimise Skills Development spend (Code 300) with mandatory Enterprise and Supplier Development donations (Code 400) as well as Socio-Economic donations (Code 500) though the Inkaba Knowledge Mentoring Academy and the Inkaba Education and Development Trust.
Inkaba Knowledge Mentoring Academy (NPC / PBO)
The Inkaba Knowledge Mentoring Academy NPC / PBO is a Not for Profit Company (NPC) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) (NPC Registration Number 2016/541984/08 / PBO Number: 930057061) with the mandate to provide quality sponsored mentoring and development solutions to corporate client’s and other appropriate organisations in order to address their B-BBEE Enterprise and Supplier Development (Code 400) needs.
Our unique B-BBEE and SARS verified Main Service Provide (MSP) Model allows the Inkaba Knowledge Mentoring Academy NPC / PBO to offer unique integrated B-BBEE solutions based on our “Nation Building through Mobile Knowledge Mentoring™” strategy and our highly scalable “Mentors2Multipliers™ model for transferring scarce and critical skills and knowledge, nurturing employability, providing access to real work experience and ultimately creating jobs and employment.
The multi-sectoral model for these Enterprise and Supplier Development mentoring initiatives are focused on the large-scale Mobile Knowledge Mentoring of dispersed groups of unemployed black female graduates, unemployed black graduates and young professionals, sole proprietor and self-employed young black professionals and black SMME’s, who wish to participate more effectively in mainstream business opportunities through pervasive Mobile Knowledge Mentoring and collaborative relationships with mentors and subject matter experts and thereby create more jobs and effective national growth and opportunity for all.
In accordance with the Academy Vision and Purpose Statement and the requirements for NPC’s / PBO’s, the Academy relies solely on donations and grants and has no operational trading capability and is thus able to offer donors exciting nation building opportunities for their mandatory Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) donations in terms of Code 400 of the Amended B-BBEE Codes. All donations and grants will therefore receive a Section 18(a) tax certificate. Furthermore, the initiative is recognised by two leading B-BBEE Verification Agencies as well as SARS as being fully compliant with Code 400 of the Amended B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
The Inkaba Knowledge Mentoring Academy NPC / PBO benefits from the inspirational chairmanship and multi-national board experience of Mr. Vally Padayachee.
The currently planned initiatives are focused on the Engineering and Construction Sector, the Power and Energy Sector and the Human Resources Sector
Inkaba Education and Development Trust (PBO)
The Inkaba Education and Development Trust PBO (Registration Number: IT555/2017(G) / PBO Number: 930057648), is a broad-based black empowerment trust and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) designed to offer donors high impact and high value contributions to developing enhanced social cohesion and nation building initiatives in the Basic Education Sector, Women in Engineering and Construction and also exciting Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) related projects.
The principal beneficiary is the international award winning Symphonia SA and Partners for Possibility project (“PfP”) (NPO Registration Number: 072-323 / PBO Number: 930-029-675) . The Inkaba Education and Development Trust PBO collaboration project with PfP seeks to potentially connect as many as 600 to 1000 school principals from under-privileged and under-preforming schools with 600 to 1000 volunteering Business Leaders. The Mobile Knowledge Mentoring conversations and collaborations will focus on common knowledge needs and “pain points” such as Leadership Development, Fund Raising, Managing School Governing Bodies (SGB’s), School Discipline, Community Engagement and Parental Matters to name a few of the key ones. The hitherto highly elusive shared insights and contextual collaborations which can now be produced and instantly shared through the new mobile knowledge mentoring initiatives will provide critical planning, training and management information for Partners for Possibility and the hundreds of engaged School Principals and Business Leaders in order to sustain and scale this multiple local and international award winning empowerment project
In accordance with the Trust Mandate and the requirements for NPC’s / PBO’s, the Trust relies solely on donations and grants and has no operational trading capability and is thus able to offer donors exciting nation building opportunities for their mandatory Socio-Economic (SED) donations in terms of Code 500 of the Amended B-BBEE Codes. All donations and grants will therefore receive a Section 18(a) tax certificate. Furthermore, the initiative is recognised by two leading B-BBEE Verification Agencies as well as SARS as being fully compliant with Code 500 of the Amended B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
